Retro-Games Home Page

Greetings program! I'm Steve 'Flash' Juon, but you may know me better around certain websites for classic or retro-gaming as "MegaManFan." If you found this link from one of those sites you already know what retro-gaming is. For the uninitiated, here's a brief explanation I cobbled together:

Any home system for playing electronic games (i.e. video games) displayed on a television screen or it's own built-in screen, released under a brand name between 1974 and 1994, and using cartridges to select different software/games to play on it can be considered a "retro-game console." This includes everything from the Atari VCS (later renamed the 2600) to Mattel's Intellivision to the Nintendo Entertainment System (or NES) and it's rival the Sega Master System (SMS), but there are MANY more.

As you may have already guessed from my handle, I'm a fan of the popular series of games released by Capcom known as Mega Man (originally Rockman in Japan). This series isn't very well known on retro consoles other than NES, but it appeared on many 90's era consoles and platforms and is still going strong with new games such as Mega Man Zero right up to the present day! Unfortunately due to the fact I've been collecting Mega Man games for years there really isn't much I need anymore - I even have a lot of the obscure European and Japanese imports that aren't well known in the U.S. Still, if you have instructions for Mega Man X3 (SNES) or box and instructions for the early Game Boy games (I, III, IV and V) please feel free to drop me a line if you want to trade or sell.

Speaking of which, you'll find two pages located here which will give you a better idea of what I'm after. Currently I'm concentrating on Atari 2600 and Atari 7800 games; there are a lot I need but you'll find specific ones that I'm looking for here. I've also acquired some games for various consoles that I'm looking to trade for the ones that I need, and you'll find those here. I prefer not to sell in most cases, but if I have something you want and you don't have something I need I'd be willing to make an exception for a fair offer. In all cases please send me an e-mail to work out the terms of a trade or deal. Thanks for taking the time to visit, and may the spirit of Bira Bira guide you on your quest to find retro-games!

Regards,
Steve 'Flash' Juon (MegaManFan)
